On Thursday we had India day. The children dressed up in their traditional dress and colours of the Indian flag. We started off the morning learning about India and how schools in India are different to ours. After, we went to the hall and learnt some Indian gestures and different styles of Indian dance. Next we went to class and completed some Indian art activities using rice. Some children received henna art work on their hand. Later we made Indian chapattis and tasted different Indian food. We had a fantastic day!
