In our school, we show great value towards other people and their cultures. One of the ways we foster the children to become more wordly, is through our weekly French lessons in Key Stage 2. This helps children to widen their perception of the world and gain insight to languages other than English. During these lessons children learn the vocabulary, phonics and grammar skills which provide them with the foundations of foreign language learning, that they can continue into secondary school. Lessons encompass a range of written work, oral practise and fun games so that skills learned can be applied.
