Children participated in China Day to celebrate Year 4’s topic.

Year 5 and 1D/1B took part in reading and writing buddies.  The Year 5 children helped the Year 1s to edit their writing and then read a book with them.

We had a peaceful day on Wednesday when we visited Aylesford. We took part in a rosary walk with Mrs Howard and also attended mass. In maths this week Year 1 has been working on using arrays to help them with multiplication. They have been working so hard and really understand how multiplication works. Well done to all the maths superstars in Year 1!

On Friday, as part of our cultural activities, we made and decorated peacocks. We folded, cut and coloured paper to create a peacock shape. We chose to create peacocks as they are the national bird of India, our topic.
