Year 3 dramatized funny poems for our cultural afternoon. We came up with actions and dances to perform for the class. One group even did a rap!

This week Year 4 where acting out a news report on the Shang Dynasty

The class was divided into groups. On each table they had a piece of paper with one of the following questions:

In Year 6 this week, as part of our Mexico topic, we made dreamcatchers. Hopefully, they will keep the bad dreams away!

In the Nursery this week, we have been learning about magnets and exploring materials that attract and repel each other.

In Reception this week we have spent lots of time in our outdoor classroom enjoying the sunshine. We have been learning to halve and double numbers and we completed our Maths activities outside.

In RE this week, Year 1 were thinking about times when people have made them feel happy by acting in a loving way towards them.  

In Science we have been looking at famous inventions. We spoke about what each invention does and why they are needed in our everyday lives. We also had a vote to see which invention is the most important. Here are some of our posters.

This week, Year 3 have been exploring Spanish delicacies. We wrote a recipe on how to make patatas bravas and then we cooked them. They were delicious!

Year 4 have been looking at Chinese designs and created their own design in their art books.  We then made fans with their designs on.

The children in year 5 were performing role plays inferring a character's feelings, actions and motives and justifying them using the text.  This was based on our core text this term, “There’s A Boy in the Girls’ Bathroom” by Louis Sachar.

Year 6 have had a busy week! We have been reading the London Eye Mystery in class and have been gripped with the storyline. With only a few more chapters to go, who knows that could happen to one of the characters Salim!
