Charities
Our Pupil Chaplaincy team and School Council meet at the start of every academic year and plan out our charity programme:
This year we have chosen the following charities;
- CAFOD
- Dagenham Food Bank
- Mary's Meals
The act of praying for someone or a group is an act of charity.
Wednesday Word
Our Pupil Chaplains lead collective worship through the Wednesday Word each week.
A simple Wednesday Word is provided for our children in Reception to base their learning on - this allows them to access the message of the Gospel in a way that is meaningful to them. Pupil Chaplains visit classrooms with puppets.
Rosary Club
Each fortnight our KS2 children are invited to take part in a decade of the rosary. It is a time to be still, calm and prayerful and reflect on our faith and take time out of our busy week to pray.
